Because after 2 weeks, we believe engraftment of transplanted hair has occurred. You can resume with your daily life right after the surgery. I have seen people going oversees the very next day. You just need to be extra careful.  

If I am worried about scars and pain, should I choose to do the FUE method? Is it still painful?

 If you are worried about scars and pain, FUE is your choice. It provides less pain, and less scarring. For the pain issue, there might be some itching and tingling sensation, but that’s about it.  

How is anesthesia performed in the FUE?

In the same manner with the FUT. Every clinic has their own way of making anesthetic solutions, we use bupivacaine and lidocaine solutions.  

How many hours does the FUE surgery take?

 It depends on the amount of hair follicles needed for the surgery. Normally, if a patient is going through 1500 graft surgery, it will take about 6~8 hours total. That includes preparing, acutual surgery time, and lunch break time as well.
